Thoughts on GOD
Who is GOD?
This is a question that has been sought of by many people both great and humble over the countless period of time and yet remaining undiscovered. Whenever this question is posed to any person in this world, we would never hear an unanimous reply; because some might say that they know God, they worship him, pray to him and feel his deeds in whatever they do and the others who are unaware of God's very existence might say that they only believe in what they see. These are just two sample answers that we are likely to get on raising such a question;yet more to come are a countless number of replies from a lot of people around the world.
In these days of over pacing technology our future generations might regard everything to science and technology and leave no room about the very thought of a Supreme power that exists. But no matter how much we delve in to science there are always questions that can never be answered. I still remember when studying about the universe and its origin, I had asked my science teacher about the origin of the universe he duly replied and went to the detail of the first Hydrogen atom that brought about the whole process. But I questioned him further on the very existence of that very first atom; scientifically it can be broken down into several other components and they can be said to have combined together to form that atom. I duly accept this statement of science, but tell me who has brought about the components of the atom together and bonded it in the perfect proportion so as to form the atom?? I still get perplexed and blank thinking about it. One very interesting thought which my Father shared with me about the existence of that very first particle that led to the formation of universe - "Suppose I keep some Bricks, cement and other materials for a building together and just leave them as it is at one place;will they be able to form a building by themselves? It needs the careful planning and construction from a talented engineer to be made a perfect structure that can withstand all climatic conditions. Similarly for all the very first particles to come together and form an atom and from there onwards down to the very humans that we are who does all the constructive work?? The answer to this question is what we call under various names - GOD".
I have read of great personalities like Swami Vivekananda who have attained the realization of God at a very young age and went ahead to preach his wisdom and empower the youth of the world. Such is the power of people who have attained this supreme knowledge of our Creator. And many other great personalities in this world have also attained this knowledge by knowing themselves - Self Realization. So what makes this Realization of the Self so significant? Because the very origin of God or Godliness lies within each and everyone of us, and unless and until we discover that we will be unable to attain perfection in whatever we do. There are yet many more forms to attain the realization of the Supreme power, which each one of us would have known at some point or the other;about the existence of a Power that makes things possible.
Think I've not confused you with my words, I want each one of us to think on this topic at least for sometime in your life and I bet that the more you concentrate on this, the deeper you will go into it. You will find your thoughts multiply randomly and almost giving you a multidimensional picture. These thoughts will lead you to build a strong inner self which will reflect upon your outer personality and eventually leading to the creation of a perfect Individual who can achieve anything...
